Do you think this could be fashionable ?

Recently, my wife has been spending far too much time exercising. I see exercise as a fools errand, and prefer lolling around the manor drinking gin and eating jam tarts. Anyway, so I have insisted she wears a pair of boots, which I have constructed from concrete. She now finds it immensely hard to move anywhere terribly fast - I will have her wear them for one week and see whether she has learnt. Does anyone share my views on these punishments to fit the crime?
