How does this sound? (short story...)?

Well, I read all of it so I would definately continue reading. :D I liked it. I thought it was cute how you started off with something like this rather than the old 'A beautiful girl walked down the street blah blah blah' thing. lol. I just mean that it's different and I like that. Nice job! :)
