Boyfriend is more outgoing and relaxed than me...is it gonna be ok?

My boyfriend and I have been happily dating for four years now. In most ways I think our relationship is fab. There is one thing tha bothers me though... He is far more outgoing and mkes friends very easily compared to me. He meets someone once or twice and is buddies with them, whereas it can take me ABSOLUTELY AGES to get to that point. He has no shortage of people to catch up with, speak to on the phone etc. whereas I sometimes struggle. This makes me feel bad, and I worry that he will start to think I'm some sort of freak. He has never said anything like that though, and is aware that it's a difficult area in my life that i'm working on. He's very understanding. I just wonder if it's a abad sign for our relationship in the long term. Anyone been through anything similar?
