I like them but mom thinks i hate them, and i dont want her to think im emo HELP?

okay, i LOVE mcr, but my mom thinks i hate them, i used to tell her they were emo, but i didnt know anything about them, i started listening to them and now I LOVE THEM they are meh fav band, well anyway, there coming to were i live and i HAVE to go to the concert... so how do i tell her without her thinking i wannabe emo...
