Would a NHL hockey team survive in KC?

The answer is yes. Colorado had a team "Colorado Rockies" which, coincidentally enough, started as the Kansas City Scouts for their first 2 years. The Rockies would eventually move on to become the Devils. As we all know, Colorado would later get the Avalanche who are a successful, thriving organization. Kansas City deserves another shot. Although, I wouldn't mind the return of hockey to Winnipeg and Quebec City as well as the suggested move of the Predators to Hamilton. IMO.
