Do you guys think "statistic" is a better way of saying "stereotype"?

Well, even when statistics are used for health and safety purposes they can be deceptive. I am a 19 year old mother of a 2 year old. I am a statistic for teen pregnancy, even though I had completed high school before becoming pregnant and actually had been attending college, i still fit into the 17 year old pregnant girl who can't take care of her kid stereotype in a lot of people's eyes, and the young mothers statistic nationwide.
