How old is too old for a pink handbag?

I am currently infatuated with this pricey, name-brand patent leather handbag & can't decide between clic black or this pretty, hot pink/magenta color. I love the quality of the name-brand but, if I drop a couple-hundred or so on an handbag, I expect to have it forever & be able to carry it (off & on) well into my 90's/100's (I'm in my 20's & obviously have a VERY LONG time to go before then but still)!
