Do you think controls on alcohol advertisements and promoting its potential negative effects are a good idea?

This has been done with smoking over the past several years - at least in CANADA. There is absolutely no promotional or advertising methods aloud for cigarettes any longer. They even teach its "evils" in public school cles. I think alcohol is ultimately more detrimental than tobacco. I don't mind this move against tobacco but I think the government has completely missed the boat when it comes to deterring youth from alcohol - not to mention other drugs.
